Jones was one of the top hurdlers at the time she started college. In 2002, at the NCAA Track & Field Championships, she won the 100-meter hurdles. In addition, she was one of those on the second team in the 100-meter relay event. Jones has won indoor hurdles at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones was a professional athlete with the year 2005, after she finished her master's degree. She began to train for a career in track. She was a winner in at least the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races in 2005.
Brandt was born within Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings moved into Auckland New Zealand when she was a teenager. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt assumed the character as Naevia in the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Her performance was a hit with the audiences as well as the producers Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen was a fan-favorite characters from comic books as well as the Vertigo/DC's Lucifer was her role in the cult Netflix show.
